Sculpture Workshop Portrait/Torso
My friend bertrandgodefroy and I are delighted to announce the very first workshop in our new studio, Atelier Mimésis, in Florence, which we will be sharing with our friend Laura Wenmaekers.
This workshop will take place from January 5 to 16, 2026, and will offer participants a unique opportunity to explore two complementary aspects of sculpture: the creation of a portrait and the modeling of a torso, both working with a live model.
We will guide you through 6 hours of teaching per day, providing personalized feedback tailored to your needs, to support your artistic growth.

Stage de dessin et de sculpture d’après modèle vivant
J’ai le plaisir de co-animer, à Lausanne, dans l’atelier Artiloft, un workshop immersif consacré à l’étude du corps et du portrait, en collaboration avec mon ami Bertrand Godefroy. Pendant cinq jours, nous explorerons les liens entre regard, geste et matière : deux jours dédiés au dessin d’après modèle vivant pour affiner l’observation, les proportions et la compréhension des volumes, puis trois jours pour prolonger cette expérience en sculpture, en modelant un portrait dans la terre.
Ce stage s’adresse à toutes et tous, quel que soit le niveau de pratique, et invite à approfondir son expression artistique dans une atmosphère attentive, exigeante et inspirante.
